Goethe Exam A1 │ Telc A1 Exam

Goethe Exam A1Telc A1 Exam, why are the Goethe or Telc A1 exams relevant?

1. The Telc or Goethe Exam A1 allows you to create your initial competency profile and thereby identify your strengths and weaknesses. Based on the results, you can better assess the four competencies – reading, listening, speaking, and writing.

2. Both the Telc and Goethe Exam A1 formats allow you to adapt your learning experience and strategies to build a competency profile appropriate to your level. This means you can identify which competencies you have demonstrated at a level appropriate to your level, which ones do you need to catch up on and invest time in, which learning strategies have you successfully implemented and need to be continued, and which ones should be abandoned.

3. The Goethe or Telc A1 Exam will remove your fear of tests and make you capable and accustomed to taking them and reaping the benefits.

4. The Goethe Exam A1 also directly prepares you for the A2 level in some areas.

5. Although grammar is assessed in the writing and speaking sections, the A1 Goethe exam does not include a specific grammar section. For this reason, we recommend taking a short grammar test as a supplement to the A1 test to round out your profile. Without a solid foundation of structural knowledge, you won’t get very far in the German language. This fact is especially important for academics and students who hope to achieve the C1 level later on.
